Acrobat and Reader 8.1 Available
Adobe just announced that version 8.1 of Adobe Acrobat and the Adobe Reader are available. Finally. With this update, they now support Vista and Office 2007. I don’t think the news made it to their web site yet (at least not the main page), I found out about it from John Landwehr’s Blog. After doing some research, I found Lori DeFurio’s Blog entry with more details.
As usual, the upgrades can be downloaded from their support site: The Mac version, and the Windows version.
I don’t know how useful the “Print to FedEx Kinkos” feature is – but I guess Kinkos probably payed Adobe a nice chunk of money for that sort of advertisement integrated into one of their best sellers…
